Ensure that a sponge or wipe and a bucket of water or the water jet are available.
For geldings and entire horses:
Wet the inside of the horse's sheath, take a small amount of Sheath Cleaner in the palm of your hand and massage it into a lather.
Allow a few minutes for Sheath Cleaner to soften and loosen segma. Ideally, take the penis out of the sheath and remove the loose segma with the glove or wipe. Rinse with clean water to remove remaining dirt and product.
For mares: clean udders and the outside of the vulva as described above. Product for external use. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and protect from freezing.
